Overview

In this contract Cloud Engineer role, you will design and deploy a secure Microsoft Azure environment aligned with security best practices. You will enable Azure OpenAI capabilities and support the Microsoft 365 estate, while assisting data migration from on-premise systems. The position focuses on administering and optimising Azure and Microsoft 365, with an onsite delivery focus in South Oxfordshire. You will collaborate with the client to drive a scalable cloud setup and meet project milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and deploy an Azure environment in line with security requirements
  • Deploy and configure Azure OpenAI services
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Intune
  • Support data migration from legacy/on-premise systems to the cloud
  • Assist with ongoing administration and optimisation of Azure and Microsoft 365

Key requirements
  • Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
  • Experience deploying and administering Azure environments
  • Experience configuring and managing Microsoft Intune
  • Knowledge of deploying Azure OpenAI services
