As a Cloud Engineer, you will help transform and maintain critical national infrastructure in public cloud. You’ll work in a DevOps context to move legacy systems to AWS and support cross-functional teams of developers and testers. The role emphasizes scalable, secure solutions and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
  • transform, support and maintain a system of critical national infrastructure on AWS
  • transition legacy infrastructure to AWS Cloud
  • collaborate with developers, testers and broader programme teams
  • support other team members as needed in a DevOps environment
  • apply engineering best practices for security and CI/CD pipelines
  • automate deployment and configuration pipelines for COTS software across environments
Key requirements
  • AWS with Linux technologies
  • Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
  • DevOps experience
  • security applied to workloads
  • CI/CD pipelines experience
  • automation of deployment/configuration for COTS software across environments
  • experience in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban)
  • excellent communication skills
