Cloud Engineer

We're hiring a Senior Platform Engineer for a central platform team running live infrastructure across AWS and a fast-growing Azure estate. You'll own the landing zones, guardrails, and the networking connecting it all. The team is stretched thin on networking depth specifically, so if that's your strength, you get real ownership from day one.

About the business:

A London-based Fintech that processes £200bn+ ecommerce payments for some of the world's leading brands.

What you'll do:

• Build/extend multi-account (AWS) and multi-subscription (Azure) landing zones
• Own cross-cloud, cross-region network architecture
• Build infrastructure with Terraform
• Get early exposure to Kubernetes-as-a-platform as the team builds it out
• Work directly with senior engineering stakeholders across the business

What we need:

• Strong hands-on AWS or Azure infra experience (ideal candidate will have a bit of both)
• Terraform experience
• An engineer happy with 3 days/week in the office.

• An engineer who wants a step up in scale. This business is global and handles a crazy amount of traffic 24/7 - serious cloud spend!
• An engineer who wants to be genuinely multi-cloud. This will be mainly Azure-based to begin with, but you'll get exposure to AWS and GCP too.
• An Engineer that wants to add Kubernetes to their skill set. The team already has several strong K8s engineers, so it's not a requirement for this hire.
• An engineer who enjoys solving problems related to cloud networking
