Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer, you will help build and maintain scalable, secure cloud platforms that support business-critical services. You will collaborate with senior engineers to automate delivery, optimize performance, and follow best practices. You’ll work across public, private, and hybrid environments, focusing on reliable infrastructure and efficient operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to modern cloud tooling, IaC, and reliability engineering within a DevOps culture.

• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments
• Build and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
• Monitor system health, security, performance, and cost with appropriate tools
• Investigate incidents affecting cloud platforms and services
• Create reusable infrastructure templates and deployment patterns with senior colleagues
• Develop automation scripts to reduce manual work and speed delivery
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, support processes, and runbooks

• 1–3 years hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates)
• Experience with Linux/Unix or Windows server administration in cloud/virtualised environments
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, VPNs)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
• Understanding of monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver)
• Experience in Agile or DevOps environments (advantageous)
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) beneficial but not mandatory
