Cloud Engineer - AWS | Python

As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll own end‑to‑end data transformation apps, from Python coding to deploying scalable AWS infrastructure. You’ll work with a cloud engineering team to deliver real‑time decisioning and high‑throughput data solutions. The role blends software development with cloud operations, enabling cost‑efficient, low‑latency systems. This is a hands‑on position with ownership of both code and the infrastructure it runs on, in a flexible remote/hybrid setup.

• Design, build and maintain Python applications for real-time decision making and large-scale data transformation
• Provision and scale secure AWS infrastructure using Terraform
• Architect cost-efficient, low-latency, high-throughput solutions
• Deploy serverless and containerised workloads across Lambda, ECS, EC2, SQS, S3 and RDS
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, builds and deployments
• Set up monitoring and logging with CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray

• Strong Python development background
• Hands-on AWS infrastructure experience
• Experience deploying environments with Terraform
• Docker and container orchestration (ECS) familiarity
• Knowledge of data transformation strategies, high-volume data streams, and solid Git/CI/CD practices
