Cloud Engineer – FinTech Startup

As a Cloud Engineer you will own the day-to-day operation and security of AWS-hosted platforms, driving cost and complexity reductions while ensuring reliability. You’ll work with cross-functional teams on technical projects and provide SME guidance, with on-call incident support and strict change/release discipline. • Maintain and secure AWS-hosted platforms and services
• Lead cost, complexity and instability reduction in cloud infrastructure
• Provide SME guidance to internal support and development teams
• Ensure monitoring, security and availability of cloud systems
• Design and implement security controls across core IT technologies
• Adhere to change control and release management processes
• Support major incidents and problem management; participate in on-call rotations
• Provide knowledge transfer and support to other teams

• Operational support and design of AWS IaaS/SaaS platforms
• Automation experience with CloudFormation and Ansible (or similar)
• Linux and Microsoft system administration including patching, securing, and monitoring
• CI/CD pipeline management understanding
• Networking, security, and related infrastructure knowledge
• Web delivery topologies including IIS
