Overview

In this Cloud Engineering role, you’ll nurture a high-performing engineering culture while delivering scalable cloud infrastructure. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, and QA to turn ideas into reliable outcomes, and you’ll champion security, automation, and DevSecOps practices. The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate delivery. You’ll contribute to strategy with a cloud perspective, shaping a fast, secure, and scalable platform for thousands of customers.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor engineers and promote continuous improvement within the team
  • Improve team performance by removing bottlenecks and promoting accountability
  • Drive AI adoption across day-to-day operations and large-scale projects
  • Maintain open, transparent communication across remote, hybrid, and in-person setups
  • Hands-on leadership in cloud engineering and technical mentorship
  • Define and enforce best practices for scalable, reliable cloud platforms
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and QA to translate ideas into outcomes
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to avoid blockers
  • Embed DevSecOps principles with security, monitoring, and automation built in from the start
Key requirements
  • Track record of leading and delivering complex projects
  • Experience mentoring engineers and handling hiring and development responsibilities
  • Extensive experience managing public cloud environments
  • Proficiency with IaC tools, especially Terraform
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting
  • Experience with high availability and multi-cloud architectures
  • Experience with container technologies (Kubernetes and Docker)
  • Data-informed and commercially aware decision making
  • Ability to manage cross-team dependencies with Platform, SRE, Product, and other stakeholders
