Cloud Infrastructure Technical Architect

Design cloud infrastructure with Linux, Python, and Ansible expertise at Bell in Montreal, using a hybrid work arrangement. Build reliable bare metal platforms.

As a Technical Architect II, you will support Bell’s cloud infrastructure evolution, automation, and reliability. You will design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale bare metal server environments underpinning critical cloud services. The work includes infrastructure standardization, security, performance, scalability, and operational efficiency in Agile and DevOps environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Standardize physical server infrastructure for scalable cloud services
• Automate operational tasks with Python, Bash, and Ansible
• Configure, monitor, and optimize physical server performance
• Apply security hardening, access controls, and encryption
• Mentor two technical support specialists

Requirements:

• Computer Science or Information Science degree
• Five to ten years of technical IT experience
• Advanced Linux administration and datacenter management knowledge
• Ansible playbook and Ansible Tower experience
• Availability for rotating 24/7 on-call coverage
