Cloud IT Administrator GCP

Google Cloud Platform expertise drives this remote IT Administrator contract with Aequilibrium in the Greater Vancouver Area. Support users, systems, and cloud operations.

As a part-time contractor, you will support Aequilibrium’s fully remote team across daily IT operations. The work combines employee lifecycle support, ticket management, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability. Strong hands-on GCP experience is required, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and VPC networking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support employees through onboarding, ongoing assistance, and offboarding
• Manage IT tickets, communication, and technical documentation
• Maintain GCP infrastructure, networking, and cloud services
• Monitor performance, uptime, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness
• Administer GCP identity, access, usage, and cloud costs

Requirements:

• Proven IT Administrator experience in cloud-based environments
• Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience required
• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools
• Understanding of GCP IAM, networking, compute, and storage
• Experience supporting remote teams and distributed environments
