Overview
As Cloud Operations Manager, you will steer two established teams and shape Softcat’s public cloud marketplace strategy. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to drive operational excellence, governance, and growth in cloud services. This role focuses on optimizing procurement, onboarding, and partner relationships with Microsoft, AWS, and Google. You’ll lead cross-functional transformation, delivering measurable performance while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.

- Drive automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement
- Oversee cloud procurement operations, licensing alignment, and customer onboarding
- Manage operational risk, governance and compliance across cloud services
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors (Microsoft, AWS, Google)
- Deliver commercial insights and performance reporting to senior leadership
- Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives supporting the digital strategy
- Proven leadership experience across multiple teams
- Track record of delivering organizational change and large-scale improvements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge of cloud marketplaces and consumption-based procurement models
- Commercial awareness balancing growth and risk
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
