As a Cloud Network Engineer, you design, build and operate secure, scalable network infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments. You will work within a platform engineering function, focusing on automation, security and reliability to support high-availability systems. You’ll own architecture and implementation, collaborating with cloud, security and application teams. This role offers a path toward architecture or engineering management in fintech, with strong development and training opportunities.

- Design and deploy networking across AWS and on‑prem environments
- Build and operate AWS networking services (VPCs, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect)
- Configure load balancing and ingress within Kubernetes
- Implement network security controls (WAF, segmentation, firewall policies)
- Own connectivity patterns (PrivateLink, service-to-service networking)
- Manage perimeter and internal firewalls (Palo Alto or similar)
- Drive automation and IaC practices across networking
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance, security and cost
- Respond to incidents, vulnerabilities and security events
- Maintain technical documentation and standards
- Strong background in enterprise or cloud networking
- Hands-on AWS networking experience (VPC, TGW, Route 53, Direct Connect)
- Experience with cloud security platforms such as Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)
- Solid understanding of routing, switching, VPNs and firewalling
- Experience managing Palo Alto or equivalent firewalls
- Exposure to automation and IaC (Terraform, Python desirable)
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks
- AWS networking (VPC, TGW, Route 53, Direct Connect)
- Load balancing and ingress in Kubernetes (ALB/NLB)
- WAF, network segmentation
- Service-to-service networking (PrivateLink)
- Palo Alto or equivalent firewalls
- Terraform
