Cloud Network Security Architect

Lead cloud-native networking and hybrid security architecture from Toronto, London, or Winnipeg, with three on-site days weekly.

This senior engineering opportunity focuses on secure, scalable network solutions for a financial services organization. You will work across VPC or VNET environments, routing, private connectivity, Kubernetes networking, and multi-cloud integration. The mandate also includes modernizing enterprise infrastructure and influencing technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement network solutions across cloud and on-premises environments
• Assess emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions
• Improve security using WAF, IPS, IDS, and DDoS protection
• Support deployments through automation and third-party integration
• Provide technical leadership during infrastructure initiatives

Requirements:

• 10+ years of enterprise network and security experience
• Experience with VPC, VNET, routing, and private connectivity
• Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and hybrid cloud integration
• Scripting, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and testing proficiency
• Degree or equivalent education; relevant certifications are assets
