Overview

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will guide clients through Google Cloud adoption and optimization, building secure, compliant GCP environments. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives and act as a trusted advisor on cloud strategy. You’ll implement infrastructure as code, automation, and CI/CD workflows to ensure reliable delivery. This role offers hands-on growth, certifications, and a clear path to advanced engineering responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build and manage GCP environments with a focus on security and compliance
  • Provision infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with emphasis on testing
  • Automate processes via scripting across Linux/Windows environments
  • Work with containerised deployments and modern orchestration
  • Collaborate with clients as trusted cloud advisor to shape migration and optimization
  • Participate in ongoing training and certfification opportunities to advance skills
Key requirements
  • Cloud experience with GCP preferred
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, or Deployment Manager)
  • Linux or Windows operating systems familiarity
  • CI/CD pipeline development and testing
  • Scripting skills for automation (any language)
