Overview

In this role you will lead the delivery of enterprise-scale cloud platform programmes and architect AI-ready environments across major cloud platforms. You will champion AI-native infrastructure, AI-assisted automation, and platform governance while mentoring teams. You’ll work closely with cross-functional delivery teams to embed AIOps, security, and FinOps into scalable platform solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic, AI-augmented delivery culture that values innovation and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of enterprise-scale cloud platform programmes
  • Architect AI-ready platform environments for GenAI, ML and agentic workloads
  • Drive AIOps adoption with intelligent monitoring and self-healing infrastructure
  • Design and deliver CI/CD platforms with AI-assisted pipelines and automated testing
  • Establish and govern Infrastructure as Code practices at scale with AI-assisted generation
  • Lead platform security, networking, and compliance engineering with policy-as-code
  • Design for resilience, FinOps and performance optimisation using AI telemetry
  • Promote agentic operations patterns and autonomous-human workflows
  • Mentor and develop platform engineering teams and set technical standards
  • Contribute to propositions, accelerators and reusable platform assets
Key requirements
  • Design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud platforms across Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake
  • Advanced Infrastructure as Code capabilities (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation) including AI-assisted IaC generation
  • CI/CD platform design with AI-assisted deployment and test automation
  • AIOps, platform observability and self-healing capabilities
  • Cloud security, networking, IAM, and policy-as-code engineering
  • AI-ready platform architecture for GenAI/ML/agentic workloads
  • Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
  • Familiarity with agentic AI patterns and governance implications
