Cloud Security Architect

In this role you will shape and secure large-scale cloud environments, with Google Cloud Platform as the primary platform. You’ll act as a trusted security adviser to cloud, engineering and architecture teams, delivering security architecture, design assurance and threat modelling to enable secure-by-design cloud solutions. You will develop blueprints and reusable patterns to address security risks across the development lifecycle. This hybrid position supports joining Reading or Central London, offering opportunities to influence cloud security across the organization.

• Provide security architecture and design assurance for cloud solutions
• Perform threat modelling and risk assessment
• Advise on secure-by-design principles across the development lifecycle
• Develop blueprints and reusable security patterns for cloud deployments
• Collaborate with cloud, engineering and architecture teams to address security risks

• Hands-on experience as a security architect, consultant or specialist in a cloud security environment
• Some hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Ability to act as a trusted adviser to technology teams
