Cloud Security Engineer AWS Kubernetes

Secure Jane’s cloud-native systems with AWS and Kubernetes expertise while working remotely across Canada, the United States, or the United Kingdom. Help make secure choices easier.

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will help mature Jane’s Platform Security function alongside its Staff Cloud Security Engineer. Your work will span AWS security, Terraform, CSPM tooling, CI/CD controls, and container infrastructure. You will also contribute to AI security as Jane builds AI-native healthcare software and develops standards for agents and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mature cloud security posture management across cloud environments
• Ship CI/CD integrations for supply chain security
• Automate secrets remediation from detection through resolution
• Harden container infrastructure and secure defaults
• Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews

Requirements:

• Two to four years of AWS security experience
• Knowledge of IAM, networking, compute, and storage
• Comfort reading and writing Terraform
• Experience with CSPM, CNAPP, or security controls
• Kubernetes or EKS security fundamentals
