Cloud Security Engineer AWS Kubernetes

Build Jane’s cloud security foundation through AWS and Kubernetes hardening. Work remotely across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will help mature security across Jane’s cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and container infrastructure. You will work with cloud security posture management, software supply chain hardening, secrets remediation, and AI security. The function is being built from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve cloud security posture management across cloud environments
• Ship CI/CD security integrations developers can use
• Harden container images, secrets, and software supply chains
• Embed secure defaults into infrastructure and product workflows
• Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews

Requirements:

• Two to four years of AWS security experience
• Terraform experience across infrastructure security work
• Working knowledge of CNAPP or CSPM tools
• Kubernetes or EKS security fundamentals
• Systems-thinking approach to security problems
