Cloud Software Engineer II

As a Software Engineer II on the Pathfinder team, you contribute to building trusted, secure, and scalable tech on the Kickstart Platform across Public and Private Clouds. You work in an agile environment to implement and evolve the Application and Infrastructure Blueprint ecosystem, collaborating with peers to improve delivery and code quality. You’ll leverage AI-assisted coding tools within governance standards to accelerate value delivery. This role offers impact through platform enablement and cross-team knowledge sharing.

• Write, test, and deploy production-quality code with growing autonomy
• Implement solutions across the Application Blueprint and Infrastructure Blueprint ecosystems
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions
• Identify opportunities to improve team practices and delivery workflows
• Share knowledge with peers and mentors while learning from seniors
• Foster an inclusive, diverse team culture
• Leverage enterprise-authored AI coding tools to enhance quality and speed, validated by peer review and automated tests

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with practical experience
• Hands-on experience in Java, Python, or Go
• Exposure to AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code tooling like Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD and the Software Development Lifecycle
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools and ability to critically evaluate AI outputs
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and security expectations
