Cloud Solutions Architect

In this role, you will serve as a Cloud Security Solution Architect within Fortinet’s Cloud Security Consulting team, acting as a center of excellence for cloud security technologies and Fortinet products. You will engage with customers across levels, delivering paid consulting services and proof of concepts to shape secure multi-cloud and hybrid deployments. You’ll translate security challenges into vendor-agnostic, scalable blueprints and contribute to thought leadership and training efforts.

• Build multi-cloud and hybrid cloud security blueprints with vendor-neutral designs and best practices
• Become an expert on Fortinet cloud products and keep current on competitors
• Deliver demos, respond to analyst inquiries, and provide expert architectural input in customer meetings
• Provide custom architecture and automation code aligned with customer cloud deployments
• Publish reference architectures for use cases and contribute to public thought leadership
• Allocate time for ongoing training, run technical webinars and hands-on demos
• Assist NSE Institute with advanced course materials and feedback
• Publish whitepapers and blogs, and draft architecture papers; network within the industry

• 10+ years in SE, Consulting SE, or Solution Architect roles in Cloud/Networking/Infrastructure/C cybersecurity
• Hands-on experience with two or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, NSX)
• Proficiency in modern software architecture, CI/CD, DevOps tools (Ansible, CloudFormation, Azure ARM), IaC, scalability, and API-first strategies
• Working knowledge of Python, Java or other programming languages
• Public Cloud certifications highly recommended (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Experience in building Agentic AI applications is highly desirable
• Experience designing/building applications using container and serverless technologies
• Proven expertise in Networking and Security; relevant vendor certifications desired
• Excellent presentation, demo, documentation, and technical writing capabilities
• Three+ years of experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, and software development
• Proficiency in English; comfortable with public speaking
• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree favorable
