Cloud Solutions Automation Engineer

Salary: £37,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience automating deployments within AWS.
• Cloud automation/development experience and the ability to work independently.
• Advanced scripting capability using Python and Bash.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud and/or wider multi-cloud environments would be beneficial.
• A good understanding of Broadcast/IP infrastructure.
• A self-directed approach and ability to learn new technologies as requirements evolve.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy broadcast-grade infrastructure across AWS, Oracle Cloud and GCP.
• Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code for global media environments.
• Automate the provisioning of media processing and IP infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Take high-level architectural requirements and turn them into deployed solutions.

We are recruiting a Cloud Solutions Automation (DevOPs) Engineer to join our client as they continue the transition of our broadcast services towards an IP-centric, Software-as-a-Service platform. This is a newly created position focused on turning high-level architecture into scalable, automated cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our architecture function to develop the automation and orchestration required to deploy complex infrastructure across multiple cloud environments.
