Our client, a large-scale enterprise infrastructure organisation in the aerospace & defence sector, is building a centralised Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to underpin its IT Service Management processes. The role covers designing and developing the CMDB application itself, automating data collection and integration across multiple sources, and delivering operational and executive dashboards with KPI/SLA reporting to improve service quality, governance, and operational efficiency across a multi-supplier delivery environment.

Key skills and Experience required

• 3+ years' application development experience
• Strong database design and SQL skills
• REST API integration experience
• Data modelling
• Reporting and dashboard development
• KPI design and analytics
• Exposure to Google Workspace tooling (AppSheet, Apps Script, BigQuery, Looker Studio) or equivalents (Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, ServiceNow)
• Familiarity with Remedy CMDB or ServiceNow CMDB advantageous
• Working knowledge of ITIL / Configuration Management / Asset Management / Service Mapping / Discovery tools / Data Governance
• Python and/or JavaScript, and ETL/data integration tools, advantageous
• Comfortable working autonomously, translating business needs into technical solutions, and managing stakeholders directly
