Combat Management Systems Developer

Support naval Combat Management Systems as a Software Engineer focused on requirements, design, integration, deployment, and testing.

This Software Engineer contributes across the complete software engineering lifecycle for large-scale, high-complexity naval platform systems. Working in an Agile, multidisciplinary team, you will support CMS-focused engineering activities and problem solving. Stated technologies include Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Helm, and relational databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work within an Agile software engineering team
• Conduct requirements and design reviews
• Develop software using Java and containerization tools
• Complete unit testing and technical documentation
• Integrate, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot software

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in software engineering, computer engineering, or computer science
• Two to five years of general development experience
• Build RESTful APIs with Spring Boot
• Deploy applications to Kubernetes using Helm
• Eligibility for NATO Secret clearance

Use software lifecycle, Agile, Java, and Kubernetes experience to advance naval Combat Management System engineering.
