Commercial Banking Relationship Associate

Support commercial banking growth and client relationships at CIBC while developing expertise in credit management and financing solutions.

As an Associate on CIBC’s Commercial Banking team, you will support account teams through acquisition, relationship management, and credit processes. You will assist Relationship Managers while preparing for a career supporting leading Canadian companies. The work includes researching industries, clients, and prospects, analyzing financial information, and developing client solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate sales-cycle activities with Relationship Managers
• Identify business opportunities and develop financing solutions
• Research industries, clients, and prospective clients
• Prepare credit submission analyses, structures, and documentation
• Respond promptly to client questions, enquiries, and issues

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Experience with financial statements and accounting principles
• Knowledge of valuation techniques and cash flow analysis
• Ability to investigate complex problems and interpret information
• Ability to communicate detailed information meaningfully
