Commercial Data & Insight Lead

In this role you will own SoW management information and governance, turning complex data into actionable insights for senior decision-makers. You will shape dashboards and reporting views, automate workflows, and drive improvements across the SoW lifecycle. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into scalable data solutions and support value-for-money decisions. • Own SoW management information, reporting requirements, and insight across intake, triage, approvals, delivery and assurance
• Analyze complex data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, demand, performance issues and opportunities for savings or improvement
• Define and shape dashboards, reporting structures and data views for clear, actionable insight
• Develop and iteratively test advanced prototypes or proofs of concept using Power BI, Excel, Power Automate and SharePoint
• Lead workflow and process improvement across the commercial SoW lifecycle, including the intake and triage process
• Translate business needs into data, reporting and workflow requirements and support scalable deployment with BAU
• Investigate data quality issues and establish reporting controls and governance standards
• Identify and shape automation and AI-enabled opportunities to reduce manual work and improve user experience

• Strong data analysis and reporting capability with ability to turn complex information into actionable insight
• Experience defining reporting requirements and creating dashboards or MI using Power BI, Excel or equivalent
• Experience in business analysis, process improvement and workflow design, moving from manual to automated solutions
• Translating business requirements into practical data, reporting and workflow solutions with technical teams
• Experience developing and iteratively testing dashboards, prototypes or proofs of concept
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, able to explain complex issues to non-technical and senior audiences
• Experience investigating data quality issues and applying reporting controls and governance
• Commercial awareness and ability to use data and insight to support assurance, value for money and decision-making
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, SAP Ariba or ServiceNow
