As a Commissioning Engineer at EDF’s HPC project, you will deliver electrical commissioning for a major UK infrastructure, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and readiness for operations. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams on site in Bridgwater, resolving technical issues, reviewing test results, and producing phase reports. You’ll operate in a highly regulated nuclear/energy environment, supporting complex commissioning activities. This role offers the chance to contribute to a landmark project and develop subject-matter expertise.

- Provide technical support to commissioning teams to resolve open points and remove blockers
- Interface with engineering teams to address complex technical issues
- Review, verify and accept commissioning test results in line with procedures
- Analyze non-conforming results and recommend corrective actions
- Produce commissioning phase reports to support progression to the next stage
- Support plant-based commissioning activities including triage and troubleshooting on site
- Contribute to the preparation of end-of-commissioning documentation
- Ensure compliance with UK electrical legislation and CDM in commissioning activities
- Electrical bias with ability to deliver technical analysis and resolve commissioning issues in regulated environments (nuclear, energy, utilities or complex infrastructure)
- Experience applying UK electrical legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Experience reviewing and handling commissioning test results and non-conformances
- Ability to produce technical documentation and phase reports
- Security Vetting eligibility (UK residency for at least 3 of the past 5 years)
- Experience supporting plant-based commissioning activities on site
- Collaborative working with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Clear communication and ability to interface with engineering teams
- Electrical commissioning in regulated environments
