Commissioning Solutions Architect

In this role, you will lead the design and development of solution architectures to support commissioning and service transformation across the ICB and ICS. You will map current landscapes, define future state architectures, and underpin commissioning decisions with robust digital and data solutions. You’ll work to ensure interoperable, scalable solutions that improve outcomes for populations and align with the 10 Year Health Plan. The opportunity combines strategic architecture with hands-on delivery in a politically sensitive, data-driven healthcare environment. - Define as-is and to-be architectures and map system landscapes
- Support business case development and option appraisal
- Ensure architectures are robust, future-facing, and interoperable across ICB/ICS
- Understand enterprise information architecture and align solutions with partner/provider systems
- Develop coherent, scalable digital/data solutions to improve outcomes across Integrated Care
- Experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture
- Designing and delivering complex digital or data solutions
- Mapping system landscapes and identifying solution opportunities
- Supporting business case development and option appraisal
- Experience in politically sensitive environments
- Ability to present to diverse stakeholders
- Experience in setting up internal processes and procedures
- Experience managing a team without direct line management
- Experience managing risks and reporting
- Experience drafting briefing papers at SMT level
- Experience monitoring budgets and business planning processes
- Degree or equivalent in IT/Digital/Information Systems or related field
- Relevant certification e.g. TOGAF/BCS or working towards
- Continued professional development
- Experience coordinating projects in complex environments
- Understanding of the public sector and healthcare environment
- Knowledge of Agile project principles, techniques and tools
