In this hybrid role, you will design and run developer-focused programs that accelerate AWS adoption while building and nurturing vibrant developer communities across UKI-North. You’ll work with Developer Advocates and cross-functional teams to scale impact through strategic events, content workflows, and community initiatives. The role blends program management with hands-on community engagement to deliver measurable value and growth for AWS services. You join a collaborative, global team focused on shaping AWS developer experiences and driving adoption.

Responsibilities
  • Drive strategy and execution for developer-focused programs, including first-party AWS and third-party events
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives to scale the impact of Developer Advocates
  • Create and maintain program dashboards, metrics, and reporting mechanisms
  • Optimize processes and introduce automation to improve efficiency and content workflows
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align programs with business objectives
  • Own and grow AWS User Groups and Student Builder Groups programs in UKI-North
  • Build relationships with community leaders and members through regular engagement
  • Plan and execute AWS Community Days and other community-led events
  • Track community health metrics and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Create feedback loops between the community and internal AWS teams
  • Enable community leaders to grow memberships and deliver impactful events
Key requirements
  • Experience in professional non-internship marketing
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
  • Preferred: experience in multi-territory campaign management
  • Preferred: experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
  • Preferred: knowledge of project management tools
  • Preferred: experience building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level
