Computer Technician

Job description:

Our ITAD division provides Canadians with a one stop recycling service for end-of-life IT equipment. We are looking for a computer technician. In this role you will refurbish and optimize used assets.

• Receive and triage inventory
• Participate in onsite pickups and deliveries
• Prep equipment for shipping
• Inspect and audit computers and categorize appropriately for resale potential.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware related problems and configure, upgrade all software and hardware requirements.
• Complete hard drive wiping and secure data destruction as desired by customers.
• Input required data into ERP system and/or excel
• Ensure to complete all customer requirements in a timely and secure manner.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to complete customer requirements to the fullest.
• Background in computer hardware is required, software is an asset
• Quick learner, self-starter
• Strong communication skills both written and oral.
