Computer Vision Software Developer II

Computer vision and C++ meet at Zebra in Montréal, where this hybrid role requires at least three office days weekly. Build product-ready algorithms for varied hardware platforms.

As a Computer Vision Software Developer II, you will turn core Zebra algorithms from prototypes into high-quality production code. You will experiment with algorithms, optimize implementations, and contribute to software systems supporting new technology or improved performance. The work spans platforms including x86, GPU, multi-core ARM CPU, and smart cameras.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transform computer vision prototypes into production-ready software
• Experiment with and evaluate algorithms during prototyping
• Optimize algorithms for PC, GPU, ARM, and smart cameras
• Participate in project code reviews and provide input
• Create automated tests and document software architecture

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering or computer science
• Two or more years of work experience
• Basic computer vision understanding across at least two listed areas
• Strong C and C++ programming skills
• Python, CUDA, OpenCL, or French proficiency preferred
