Scope of Work

The work may include, but is not limited to:

Education: Certificate, diploma, or degree in computer science, web design or other relevant field from a recognized Canadian Footnote* post-secondary institution.

Experience: 24 months relevant experience. Typical duties may include:

• Performing HTML, DHTML, XML conversions
• Performing more complex web design
• Preparing Word, PDF, Excel Spreadsheets, tables, charts and other documents required for web publishing using applications such as Homesite, Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat, Snag it, etc.
• Developing new websites
• Conducting research on websites for information on best practices
• Performing changes updates and uploads and maintenance of the departmental web sites
• Gathering user requirements
• Developing, updating, maintaining, and publishing web content using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Ensuring compliance with Government of Canada web standards, Canada.ca requirements, accessibility standards, and official languages obligations

Period of Work

Estimated dates: August 10th, 2026, to September 30th, 2026. Note however that period can be shortened or extended.

7.Location of Work

The Contractor must perform work on-site at:

22 Eddy Street

Gatineau, Quebec

The Ressource is expected to work a standard 5 days a week, 7.5-hour workday during regular business hours (e.g., 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break), unless otherwise authorized by the Project Authority.

The Resource has to comply with the Treasury Board Secretariat Direction on prescribed presence in the workplace and departmental on-site presence requirements.

Some meetings may occur virtually, as operationally required.

Language of Work

The work will be conducted in both official languages.
