Overview

In this role you will apply and administer CMDM processes to ensure compliance with Raytheon, customer and industry requirements. You will manage configuration control, data repositories, and audits across development and operational systems, collaborating with subcontractors and cross-functional teams. You will prepare plans, participate in reviews, and act as the Control Account Manager for CMDM resources, driving accurate baselines and data integrity. You will contribute to continuous improvement of CMDM tools and practices across Raytheon sites. This position offers exposure to high-stakes defence programs and opportunities to influence data governance and configuration culture.

Responsibilities
  • Apply and administer CMDM processes across the business area
  • Construct and integrate Configuration Management Plans with subcontractor and customer plans
  • Manage configuration control boards and document outcomes/actions
  • Oversee data repositories and libraries, perform audits for compliance
  • Prepare for and participate in programme reviews and configuration baseline audits
  • Act as CAM for CMDM resources and compile Basis of Estimate
  • Participate in Risk Management reviews and report findings
  • Coach and train Raytheon staff in CMDM practices
  • Collaborate with other Raytheon sites to implement new CMDM tools and common methodologies
  • Support external audits (ISO, DAOS) and internal process reviews
Key requirements
  • Conversant with Military and Commercial CM standards
  • Experience in CMDM planning for data artefacts and export controls
  • Strong interfacing and communication across management, engineering, production and commercial teams
  • Industrial background in Configuration Management in technical environments
  • Experience in core CM processes: planning, control, identification, status accounting and reporting, data libraries, product release and audits
  • Proficiency with CM tools and advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Knowledge of CMDM lifecycle in development and service
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Must have or be able to achieve SC level clearance
  • Strong communication skills
