Overview
In this role you will act as the primary point of contact for configuration management on a major nuclear power project in Bristol. You will align design and construction while ensuring compliance with UK nuclear regulations, coordinating across stakeholders and supporting design handovers. You will monitor end-to-end configuration activities and maintain accurate data-driven configuration records. - Act as a primary point of contact for configuration management processes
- Coordinate configuration activities across multiple stakeholders and support design handovers
- Ensure compliance with configuration management processes throughout the project
- Support management of design changes, open points, and technical interfaces
- Monitor and steer end-to-end configuration activities across the lifecycle
- Analyse technical data and maintain accurate configuration records and systems
- Develop and maintain data-driven approaches for configuration control
- Identify opportunities for process, system, and procedural improvements
- Engineering or technical background with the ability to analyse technical documents
- Knowledge of configuration management principles
- Understanding of engineering requirements, quality processes, and CDM regulations
- Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills
- Nuclear industry experience, including familiarity with nuclear site licence conditions
- Ability to track progress, manage priorities, and escalate issues effectively
