Configuration Change Engineer

In this role you will act as the primary point of contact for configuration management on a major nuclear power project in Bristol. You will align design and construction while ensuring compliance with UK nuclear regulations, coordinating across stakeholders and supporting design handovers. You will monitor end-to-end configuration activities and maintain accurate data-driven configuration records. • Act as a primary point of contact for configuration management processes
• Coordinate configuration activities across multiple stakeholders and support design handovers
• Ensure compliance with configuration management processes throughout the project
• Support management of design changes, open points, and technical interfaces
• Monitor and steer end-to-end configuration activities across the lifecycle
• Analyse technical data and maintain accurate configuration records and systems
• Develop and maintain data-driven approaches for configuration control
• Identify opportunities for process, system, and procedural improvements

• Engineering or technical background with the ability to analyse technical documents
• Knowledge of configuration management principles
• Understanding of engineering requirements, quality processes, and CDM regulations
• Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills
• Nuclear industry experience, including familiarity with nuclear site licence conditions
• Ability to track progress, manage priorities, and escalate issues effectively
