Connect Intelligence - System Engineer

As a Systems Engineer, you will lead the technical delivery of complex, mission-critical systems for law enforcement, within a large multi-disciplinary team. You’ll translate customer requirements into capable solutions, guiding end-to-end deliveries from design to implementation and ongoing assurance. The role focuses on resilient, high-performance integration across hardware and software, with hands-on work across the full tech stack. You’ll partner with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet demanding operational needs while enabling hybrid, flexible working. • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex systems from design to acceptance
• Capture, understand and translate customer requirements into technical solutions
• Oversee hardware and software upgrades and new deliveries
• Ensure system resilience, performance and availability
• Manage technical ownership across the full technology stack
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver on project goals

• Willingness to travel overseas (3 one-week trips per year)
• Hands-on DevOps-type experience with exposure to systems engineering tasks
• Ability to handle design tasks and small projects at GG09; lead large projects at GG10
• Knowledge in networking, Linux OS and scripting, security and hardening, source control, systems design and integration
