Overview

As a Consultant Database Specialist at Schroders, you ensure product and firm-level data is accurate, accessible and well-delivered. You’ll support business development by providing trusted data to investment consultants, clients and third parties, working across Consultant Databases and related channels. You will collaborate with client-facing teams and subject matter experts to clarify data needs, resolve queries and maintain high-quality outputs. The role emphasizes data quality, process improvement and stakeholder engagement to strengthen data usability for clients and consultants. This position offers a chance to contribute to data-driven client service and cross-functional cooperation.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of accurate and timely data submissions to support Consultant Databases globally.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, partnering with sales, public and private markets investment teams and subject matter experts to ensure data serves client and consultant needs.
  • Support the global RFP function with data accessibility, data enablement and quality checks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to produce accurate, high-quality data, and assist in peer reviews to maintain consistency and quality standards.
  • Liaise with external Consultant Databases providers to add and maintain product information on their platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data processes, reduce manual effort and strengthen data quality, consistency and usability of Consultant Databases content.
Key requirements
  • Data reporting and/or client reporting experience.
  • Interest in private and public markets investment products.
  • Strong team player with initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Effective interaction with internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Numerate with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience using Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
