Consultant - Manager, Business Analyst (Functional) - Tech Consultancy - Defence & Security

In this role you will partner with Defence & Security clients to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and robust delivery plans. You’ll work in a cross-functional team to analyse data, model processes, and support the end-to-end lifecycle from discovery to delivery. The role emphasizes impact through improvements in operating models and product delivery, within a hybrid, flexible work environment. You will contribute to high-stakes programmes requiring DV clearance and stakeholder influence, shaping outcomes that matter for national security.

• Collaborate with clients to capture, document, and analyse requirements, processes, systems, and data; run workshops/interviews to identify improvements
• Translate business requirements into functional specs and user stories for development teams
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and drive decision-making and process improvements
• Define and manage product-centric operating models and ownership for efficient delivery
• Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate proposed solutions and dependencies
• Support project planning, testing, quality assurance, and ongoing client guidance throughout the lifecycle
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to business analysis

• Active UK Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance
• Proven Business Analysis experience in complex transformation projects
• Strong analytical and technical acumen; knowledge of requirements elicitation, process modelling, Lean practices
• Experience with analytical tools (PowerBI, Tableau) and testing against requirements
• Agile delivery experience (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS) and Lean Portfolio Management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across organisational levels
