Consultant, Workday Financials, Technology & Transformation

Overview

In this role you help shape and deliver Workday Finance projects within Deloitte’s Enterprise Technology and Performance practice. You collaborate with clients to understand current processes, design end-to-end solutions and support data flows and integrations. You guide problem-solving, risk awareness and stakeholder communications to ensure successful ERP delivery. You will work in a cross-functional, inclusive team to transform finance operations and maximise ROI for clients. This is a people-focused, hybrid opportunity with growth and ongoing development in a leading Workday practice.

• Deliver Workday Finance projects and support transformation strategies
• Collaborate with clients to document current processes and design end-to-end business processes supported by Workday
• Identify client process and integration issues and help recommend solutions
• Configure Workday applications to meet business requirements under guidance

• Experience with or maintenance of finance ERP systems
• Assisting clients in developing to-be processes and Workday data flow, including integration points to non-Workday systems
• Translating business requirements into system/process designs (functional and non-functional)
• Foundational understanding of Workday transactional data flows and data migration support
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Support stakeholder management and client relationships
• Awareness of risk in ERP delivery projects
• Collaborative mindset and ability to support development of teams
• Experience with data cleansing, conversion and reconciliation from legacy systems, and performing UAT
