Our client, an established and growing company in the Hamilton/Burlington area is seeking a Controller to join their team! Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will play a strategic role in the financial management of a multi-entity company. The successful candidate will utilize their skill set to interpret financial results and contribute to ongoing process improvements in the Finance department. This is an in-office position.Work Location: 100% in-office in the Hamilton-Burlington area.What our client has to offer:Competitive salary and benefitsEstablished and growing companyContinued opportunity for professional growthPrimary Responsibilities:Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with ASPE and other regulatory requirementsInterpret financial results in order to assess business performance and make recommendations for improvement and sound financial strategiesWork with the CFO in leading business planning process including annual operating plan, annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecastOversee treasury, internal controls, and complianceCollaborate with internal and stakeholdersProvide support and expertise to automate and streamline financial processesCoordinate with external auditors, prepare required documentation and facilitate an efficient audit processSupport and lead process improvements and procedure implementations.Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a Controller in a multi-entity settingCPA designation required3+ years of supervisory experienceStrong understanding of financial reporting and analysisExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required for success in this roleThis position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentThis is an in-office positionThis posting is for an open vacancy currently available within our client's organization.
