Controller

Our growing TSX-listed client is looking for a Controller to lead accounting across multiple business units. You'll oversee a 10+ person international team through two direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Own the close and reporting process across multiple business units.
• Lead general accounting, AP and AR.
• Act as the main contact for statutory audits.
• Improve processes, systems and controls through standardization and automation.
• Make sure IFRS and internal controls are applied consistently.
• Oversee cash forecasting and working capital.
• Integrate acquired businesses.
• Coach and develop a team spread across several locations.

The Successful Candidate

• CPA or an equivalent accounting designation
• Experience leading accounting in a publicly listed, multi-entity, and multi-currency environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, controls and revenue recognition
• A record of process improvement and automation
• Clear communicator who works well with teams in different jurisdictions
