Select People Solutions is searching for an experienced Controller to join our client’s team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on financial professional who can provide strong oversight of accounting operations while delivering accurate reporting and meaningful financial insight to support business decisions.

Compensation & Hours:

• The rate of pay is expected to be between $110K-$150K
• Monday through Friday, daytime hours

Position Summary:

• Oversee core accounting functions, including financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable approvals, utility billing reviews, and indirect tax remittances.
• Prepare and coordinate annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and year-end processes for multiple organizations.
• Monitor project costing, inventory transactions, and capital asset accounting to ensure financial accuracy and effective resource management.
• Develop, review, and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls while identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Provide financial analysis, strategic insights, and performance measurement recommendations to support organizational decision-making and long‑term planning.
• Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to support budgeting, asset management, reporting, and special projects.
• Present financial information and recommendations to senior leadership, governing bodies, and other stakeholders as required.
• Provide leadership support and operational continuity in the absence of the senior finance executive.

Required Qualifications:

• Post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting experience
• Min 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, including financial reporting and full‑cycle accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Class 5 License and reliable vehicle
