Overview

As a Core Infrastructure Engineer, you will own and operate the foundational services used by our engineering teams, ensuring reliability, scalability, and automation across Windows and Linux environments. You’ll manage CI tooling (Jenkins), infrastructure automation (Terraform Enterprise), and identity services (Active Directory), collaborating with platform and application teams to deliver robust infrastructure. The role includes on-call rotation and end-to-end ownership of services from deployment to incident response. This is a hands-on position in a mission-driven firm that values methodical execution and impactful infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Own and operate Terraform Enterprise appliance, including upgrades, backups and user support
  • Manage and evolve Active Directory, Windows Bastion Hosts and inventory
  • Maintain and improve Jenkins CI infrastructure
  • Automate service provisioning, configuration and lifecycle management
  • Ensure services are monitored, documented and recoverable
  • Collaborate with platform and application teams to deliver infrastructure solutions
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rotation
Key requirements
  • Experience operating and automating infrastructure services in an enterprise environment
  • Experience across Windows and Linux environments, including Windows Server and Active Directory administration
  • Strong infrastructure as code skills, with an interest in AI-driven infrastructure management
  • Experience with Jenkins pipeline management and administration
  • Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python or both
  • Experience managing self-hosted application platforms, including upgrades, patching and monitoring
  • Proven experience owning services end to end, including deployment, monitoring, incident response and improvement
