You’ll work within an agile, test-driven environment to design and implement features that directly influence product direction. The position offers visibility into the architecture and scope to prototype new technologies, shaping the future of the firm’s financial technology stack. London-based with potential remote work, you’ll join a top-tier team tackling complex engineering problems in a capital-intensive trading domain.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core Java features with an eye for performance
- Contribute to business offerings with tangible, visible impact
- Collaborate in an agile, test-driven development environment
- Prototype and evangelise new technologies to evolve the architecture
- Engage with multi-threaded server-side Java and contribute to product direction
Key requirements
- Core Java experience (7+ years)
- Some experience with Prime brokerage work or reconciliations systems (PBs)
