• Learn and develop COBOL proficiency through structured training and on-the-job work on Linux COBOL applications
• Maintain, enhance and support core business systems built in COBOL
• Collaborate with engineers and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Write, test, troubleshoot, and debug code to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Understand and apply SDLC practices, source control, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD processes
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
• Document code, processes, and technical procedures as required
