Corporate Controller IPO Readiness Vancouver

Lead EarthDaily’s IPO readiness and US GAAP reporting as Corporate Controller in Vancouver, using technical accounting expertise across a hybrid environment.

Reporting to the VP, Finance, you will own accounting operations, financial operations, and internal controls during EarthDaily’s scale-up. The role oversees a distributed team of 15+ professionals and a complex multi-entity, multi-currency structure spanning Canada, the US, France, and Brazil. You will build scalable infrastructure, maintain financial statement integrity, and prepare the function for public-company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own monthly close, consolidations, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Lead IPO readiness, SOX 404 preparation, and disclosure coordination
• Direct audits, tax engagements, and statutory compliance across jurisdictions
• Maintain NetSuite, controls, workflows, and accounting process improvements
• Lead and develop accounting professionals across countries and time zones

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and required CPA designation
• 10+ years accounting experience, including three Controller years
• IPO readiness and public-company reporting experience
• Deep US GAAP and multi-currency consolidation knowledge
• Experience leading teams of 15+ professionals
