This Associate supports Sun Life’s Corporate Development team across global business growth strategies. You will assess mergers, acquisitions, sales, minority investments, joint ventures, partnerships, and enterprise initiatives. The work spans strategic evaluation, financial analysis, due diligence, and business planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate strategic opportunities across Sun Life’s four pillars
• Manage multifunctional due diligence throughout transaction lifecycles
• Prepare approval materials for senior leaders
• Build financial models for valuation and transaction analysis
• Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking

Requirements:

• Three to five years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, commerce, or related field
• Complex financial modeling proficiency, including merger and discounted cash flow models
• Knowledge of Canadian life insurance reporting and actuarial valuation
• Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
