Corporate Development M&A Associate

Drive software acquisition research and outreach as a Corporate Development Associate in a hybrid Toronto or Ottawa role. Financial literacy and M&A experience are central.

Harris seeks an Associate for Constellation Software’s high-velocity acquisition organization. You will identify software companies, engage founders and senior executives, and develop relationships through the acquisition process. The work combines research, targeted outreach, CRM discipline, valuation discussions, and transaction support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source software companies aligned with investment goals
• Lead targeted outbound prospecting and relationship building
• Manage CRM pipeline stages and forecast pipeline health
• Coordinate due diligence requests and information flow
• Support transactions through acquisition completion

Requirements:

• Hands-on financial and business experience
• Fluency discussing M&A processes and valuation drivers
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated success with cold outreach
• Willingness to travel 10–20% within Canada and USA
