Overview
In this role you will deliver evidence-based, data-driven cost insights for major infrastructure programmes. You’ll work as an embedded resource or on multi-client pieces to improve affordability, predictability and performance across the asset lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with Digital, Data and Innovation teams to standardise cost data and promote best practice. The opportunity spans multiple sites in the North East & Yorkshire with potential remote work within the region.
Responsibilities- Develop and refine infrastructure cost benchmarks across sectors
- Analyse cost performance across assets, programmes and portfolios
- Identify key cost drivers, trends and variances
- Assist with gathering and sharing estimating data
- Support automated capture, standardisation and governance of cost data
- Collaborate with Digital, Data and Innovation teams
- Promote good practice within Turner & Townsend
- Support achievement of departmental objectives
- Stay updated in your technical area to advise in line with business goals
- Experience in infrastructure cost management, cost intelligence, benchmarking or data analytics
- Background in consultancy, client-side infrastructure organisations or major contractors preferred
- Degree in relevant field (see required education)
- Progress towards or membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS) desirable
