C&P Senior Hardware Engineer

In this role you will design and validate the hardware for HVDC control cabinets, integrating hundreds of boards, HMI, and IT components on a real-time platform. You will lead project execution, align with customer requirements, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure quality and timely delivery. The work supports sustainable energy transmission and grid stability, with impact from design reviews to factory and site commissioning. You’ll contribute to standardization and process improvements within a cross-functional team.

• Lead project execution and deliver tasks on time with quality
• Understand contract scope and customer requirements
• Review design specifications and diagrams with concept coordinators
• Collaborate with project team to enable smooth execution
• Design, review and validate cubicle layouts and HW integration
• Validate BOMs and manage lead times for materials
• Coordinate with cubicle manufacturers for production timelines
• Participate in design reviews to identify issues and drive improvements
• Provide support during FAT/SAT, factory tests, and site commissioning
• Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams to share best practices

• Bachelor or Master in a relevant technical area
• Strong knowledge in control & protection panel design (CRP)
• Site experience in control & protection testing and commissioning is an advantage
• Technical coordination with sub suppliers and multiple stakeholders
• Experience with CAD tools for control systems (Engineering Base is valuable)
• EMC knowledge or experience of AC sub-stations and control systems is a merit
• Exposure to HVDC projects is advantageous
