CPA Tax Director

Leading the charge in innovative tax solutions, the full-time remote CPA Tax Director will serve as the primary advisor for high-net-worth individuals and business clients, managing complex tax planning, compliance, and client relationships while driving business development efforts. Key responsibilities Market, design, and implement tax-planning strategies for clients while managing budgets Conduct reviews and take ultimate responsibility for complex income tax returns, including federal and multi-state filings Proactively identify opportunities to expand client relationships and mentor Associates and Managers on tax projects Required qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field At least 8 years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with a minimum of 4 years in a supervisory role Advanced credentials such as CPA or JD for client representation before the IRS Strong technical knowledge of complex tax issues, particularly for high-net-worth clients Proficient in technology tools, including MS Excel and Google Suite
