CPC Certified Coder II

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the CPC Certified Coder II will focus on professional coding with a strong emphasis on cardiology, reviewing medical records to determine appropriate codes and ensure accurate reimbursement. Key responsibilities: Utilize computer applications to efficiently complete the coding process and maintain productivity standards Review and sequence codes to maximize reimbursement while addressing coding edits and denials Identify incomplete documentation and formulate queries to obtain necessary information for accurate coding Required qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent Graduate of an approved, certified coding program preferred Minimum of 3 years of coding experience or CPC certification required Proficient computer skills, with MS Excel knowledge preferred Eligible for CPC or CPC specialty certification
