Overview

In this role, you act as a creative and product development ambassador for SCK&F Brands, leading end-to-end development from concept to launch. You work within the Creative & Marketing team to shape market-ready products that embody the Paddington IP and other properties. You coordinate feedback, approvals, and asset delivery across partners, ensuring on-time delivery and clear documentation. You will influence range planning and collaborate across sales, marketing, and licensed partnerships to grow the brand.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, clear feedback to licensees and partners using design outputs to communicate brand requirements
  • Manage end-to-end product development workflows and approvals, identifying timeline risks
  • Oversee product development tools (MyMediabox) and asset delivery to licensees and partners
  • Upload assets to DAM systems and organize metadata for efficient access
  • Lead primarily hardline categories (3D character development, plush toys, games, gifts, interactive projects)
  • Liaise with 3rd party creators, producers, sales, marketing, and Marketreach teams
  • Coordinate range planning and final visuals for marketing materials/lookbooks
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform decisions
  • Contribute to internal product development for own retail stores
  • Develop tools/assets to improve systems and processes
  • Focus on Paddington, with expansion to other IPs under Kids & Family
  • Attend meetings with licensees, retailers, and suppliers (in-person/remote)
  • Support internal PD processes and manufacturing knowledge across industries
Key requirements
  • 5-10 years’ experience in licensing
  • superb communications (visual, spoken, written)
  • experience working with partners for whom English is a second language
  • efficient, pro-active, organized
  • good visual understanding and design skills
  • knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • understanding of PD processes and manufacturing techniques across industries
  • experience with Toys & Games (incl. Plush) is an advantage
  • knowledge of Mediabox brand assurance software is an advantage
  • fluency in a second language is useful
  • based in the UK, hybrid (min 3 days in office)
